Rowdy Rebel shares his debut album “Rebel vs. Rowdy”.
Rowdy Rebel is back with some new music as he finally drops his long-awaited debut album “Rebel vs. Rowdy”. The new project contains 17 tracks, with guest appearances from French Montana on “Master P”, Fivio Foreign on “Paid Off”, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Jadakiss on “New York”, Dreezy on “Married To The Streets” and more.
The GS9 and Epic Records rapper has previously dropped the mixtapes, “Shmoney Shmurda” in 2014, “Remain Silent” in 2015 and “Shmoney Keeps Calling” in 2016.
Rowdy Rebel rose to prominence with Bobby Shmurda’s GS9 collective in the mid-2010s, but he was imprisoned in 2016 after pleading guilty to third-degree conspiracy and firearms charges. In June 2020, Rowdy Rebel recorded a guest verse on Pop Smoke’s posthumous hit “Make It Rain.” He was freed from jail in December of the same year. Rowdy Rebel collaborated with Nav for “Jesse Owens” and hopped on Bobby Shmurda’s track “Shmoney” after releasing his return song “Re-Route” at the start of 2021.
