NBA Youngboy’s “Realer 2” is out now.
This week, NBA Youngboy made his return with a new song “Purge Me“, and then went on to again deactivate his Instagram account. Then DJ Akademiks shared some updates that he had a conversation with the Baton Rouge rapper, who told him that he will be dropping his new project “Realer 2” at midnight last night.
The rapper has now unleashed the project after a little delay, and it’s available to stream on his Youtube channel. The project contains 15 tracks, with a lone guest appearance from JAZ on “Poppin Sh*t”.

This is Youngboy’s 30th project, and a sequel to 2018’s mixtape and a follow-up to last month’s “The Last Slimeto“.
YoungBoy has already released 14 projects since the beginning of 2020, including three official lps (Top, Sincerely, Kentrell, and The Last Slimeto), five commercial mixtapes (38 Baby 2, Colors, Until I Return, Still Flexin, Still Steppin, and Realer 2), three collaboration efforts, and a trio of collections (Ain’t Too Long 2, Nobody Safe with Rich the Kid, From the Bayou with Birdman, and Better Than You with DaBaby)
Realer 2 comes only one month after NBA YoungBoy released “The Last Slimeto,” his fourth album, which just lost out on the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200 list following a close sales competition with latin pop sensation Bad Bunny. After selling 108,400 album-equivalent units in its first week, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. 4,600 of that total came from direct sales, with the rest coming through 161.92 million on-demand streaming.
Following “Realer 2”, the rapper released several new projects and in 2023, he has already dropped two new efforts “I Rest My Case“ and the 33-track album “Don’t Try This At Home” with assistance from Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Mariah The Scientist and more.
Youngboy also made chart history as the rapper now becomes the youngest artist with 100 hits on Billboard Hot 100. The Top rapper’s latest song to chart is “Big Truck” which debuts at #100 on the US Hot 100. The rapper achieved the milestone at 23 years, six months and two weeks old.
