NAV shares his new album “OMW2 Rexdale.”
NAV returns to the music scene as he drops his long-awaited new album “OMW2 Rexdale”. This is his fifth studio album, and a follow-up to 2022’s “Demons Protected By Angels”.
The album comes with a pack of 14 tracks, with guest appearances from Don Toliver on “YOU”, Playboi Carti on “UNLIMITED”, and Metro Boomin on “REAL ME.”
In an interview with XXLMag, the Canadian shares if he considers this album a homecoming. “Yes, I do, but it’s not me going back to my old ways, creatively. It’s more so me going back to where I came from with a new perspective [as] a more mature version of myself and creating a new version of that sound, not just duplicating what I did before, which sometimes a lot of fans want you to do,” he said. “I even had a film crew come with me at my mom’s house, to my bedroom, where I used to make all my music in my early days and we set up in there. I made a song, and we recorded the whole process. It’s going to be on the album. [It’s] to bring that nostalgia back.”
