Nas and DJ Premier team up on “Light-Years” collab album.
Nas and DJ Premier had been teasing a collab album this year, and they officially team up on a new project, “Light-Years”. The duo previously appeared at the New York Comic-Con panel, where they discussed the album, which is a part of Mass Appeal’s “Legend Has It” series.

Earlier this year, the duo teamed up on the song “Define My Name” on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Nas’ classic debut album “Illmatic”. ”Ayy, yo, Preem, chill / I got the rhymes, you got the beats / Aight / Thirty years later, we back in the streets, we back in the lab / Aight then, let’s go Nas / It’s time / It’s album time, yeah / Premier album still gon’ happen,” Nas first teased the album on the song.
