Logic drops new album “Everyday” feat Juicy J, Killer Mike & others.
After giving us the title track ‘Black Spiderman‘ and the most recent ‘1800-273-8255‘ track, Logic has finally released his new album titled “Everybody“. The project contains 13 records with features from Juicy J, Killer Mike, Big Lenbo, Alessia Cara, and more.
The music video for Logic’s Marshmello collaboration “Everyday” was recently released, and it emphasizes how hard the ordinary person works every day while yet being treated unjustly and tormented by their superiors. The video, which was written by Robert Hall and Alan Ferguson and directed by Ferguson, is an obvious reference to films like Fight Club and Office Space, both of which addressed the mundane nature of a 9-to-5 job, with the latter receiving the most direct homage midway through. To begin one of the rhymes, Logic pays homage to AZ’s iconic stanza from Illmatic’s “Life’s a Bi**h.” Overall, this stuff is jam-packed with surprises.
It is Logic’s first album to debut at the top of the charts. With 247,000 album-equivalent units, of which 196,000 were just album sales in its first week, Everybody debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. It is Logic’s first album to debut at the top of the charts. The album also established a record for the biggest second-week decrease ever, with pure sales dropping by 96% to barely 8,000 copies. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album platinum on March 26, 2018, for cumulative sales, streaming, and track sales equivalent to one million units in the US.
