Lil Yachty drops the “Summer Songs 2” mixtape.
Atlanta Rapper Lil Yachty returns with his new project titled “Summer Songs 2“. The mixtape contains 14 records with contributions from Offset, G Herbo, Burberry Perry, Byou and more. He also releases his ‘Keep Sailing‘ Film.
The project, like much of Yachty’s music, is unconventional and loaded with head-nod inducing production. He demonstrates his ability to rap on the single “For Hot 97,” when he completely digs in on a legendary groove. His words are rapid and forceful, and while admitting that freestyles aren’t his thing, Lil Boat pours down flames in this fast-paced tune. Yachty’s talents were called into doubt during a recent interview with Hot 97 when he was asked to freestyle.
