Khalid drops the new album “Scenic Drive”.
Following the release of the “Present” music video a couple of days back, Khalid has finally dropped his brand new album “Scenic Drive”. This is Georgia native’s third studio album, and a follow to his 2019’s effort “Free Spirit“.
“I’m so grateful to have worked with so many amazing/talented artists on this project,” he said. “Also, I’m so excited for everyone to hear this and live with it. I’m always nervous to release new music but can honestly say this is a project I’ll hold close to my heart forever. I wanna thank everyone from the producers to the features for bringing this to life.”
“After a break from making music — I’m excited to return joined by other artists that I respect and love,” Khalid said in a press release. “I am a really big believer in collaboration and Scenic Drive to me represents me moving into a more mature direction with my sound. I’ve been holding onto this for the past few months and can’t wait until it’s yours. And after this… then comes the album. Enjoy this with your friends and loved ones. This tape is yours.”
The album contains 9 tracks, with guest appearances from Alicia Keys on “Intro”, 6Lack & Lucky Dave on “Retrograde”, JID on “All I Feel Is Rain”, Majid Jordan on “Open”, Kiana Lede on “Voicemail”, Smino & Ari Lennox on “Scenic Drive” and more.
