Kendrick Lamar shares new album “GNX.”
Kendrick Lamar is back with a surprise as he dropped his brand new album titled “GNX”. This is K. Dot’s sixth studio album, and released through pgLang and Interscope Records.
The new album contains a pack of 12 songs with guest appearance from SZA on “Luther” and “Gloria.” It also features uncredited guest vocals from Playboi Carti, Nettspend, Bladee and Lil Darkie. “I used to bump Tha Carter III, the irony I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down […] got the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me, all these ni–as agitated I’m just glad it’s on they faces,” he raps on the intro, in reference to the controversy surrounding his Super Bowl selection and Lil Wayne snub.
The album is follow up to his 2022’s “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”. The project debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 295,000 units sold first week and earned the Grammy for best rap album.
There have been speculations about the new Kendrick Lamar album since a few months, following his victory in the beef battle with Drake. The rapper will also be headlining the 2025 NFL Super Bowl Halftime show in New Orleans. Just recently, he earned multiple nominations for Grammy Awards 2025, especially for his Drake diss “Not Like Us.”
