Kendrick Lamar unleashes the new album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”.
It’s finally here. Kendrick Lamar has released his highly anticipated long-awaited new album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”, a follow up to 2017’s Pulitzer-winning effort “DAMN.” The album is released through pgLang / Top Dawg / Aftermath / Interscope, and it is his finally offering through TDE.
“As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years,” he said while announcing the project last year. “The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling.”
The project is laced with recently released “The Heart Part 5“, which was accompanied by a music video where K. Dot changes into Kanye West, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant, OJ Simpson, Jussie Smollett, and Nipsey Hussle.
The new project is a double disc album, with 9 tracks on each side. The guest appearances comes from Blxst & Amanda Reifer on “Die Hard”, Taylour Paige on “We Cry Together”, Summer Walker & Ghostface Killah on “Purple Hearts”, Kodak Black on “Silent Hill”, Baby Keem & Sam Dew on “Savior” and more.
