J. Cole puts “The Come Up” mixtape on Streaming services.
J. Cole has finally released his debut mixtape “The Come Up” entirely on streaming platforms. The mixtape was originally released back in 2007 and was hosted by DJ OnPoint. The tape was released following Jermaine’s new audio series “Inevitable”, whose first episode focused on The Come Up. Cole’s debut mixtape was downloaded and streamed over 500,000 times, while being viewed over 1,800,000 times on DatPiff.
“The beginning. The Come Up finally available now on DSP’s,” wrote Cole. “17 years later. Better late than never. My brother @realcoleworld The Come Up out now on all DSP. This sh-t really started everything off… I’m about to shed a baby tear I’ll be back,” wrote Cole’s manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad.
The project contains 17 tracks, with samples from the likes of Nas, Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, Lil Kim, Consequence, JAY-Z, Ghostface Killah, Common and more.
