Future releases his new album “I Never Liked You”.
After announcing it earlier this month, Future has finally released his ninth studio album “I Never Liked You”. The project is a follow up to his 2020’s effort “High Off Life“.
The album features a list of 16 new tracks. The star-studded album features guest appearances from Kanye West on “Keep It Burnin”, Gunna & Young Thug on “For A Nut”, Drake & Tems on “Wait For U”, Kodak Black “Voodoo”, Drake on another song “I’m On One” and more.
Future’s first solo full-length effort since May 2020’s High Off Life, which debuted at No. 1, and his first album release since Pluto x Baby Pluto with Lil Uzi Vert, which came out a few months later in November. “Putting this project together is basically people realising that I love hard,” the rapper explained on the cover of GQ. “Probably love is the most difficult. I wanted to show off my abilities in terms of melodies, subjects, and vulnerability.”
Future discussed the new project with GQ for the magazine’s May cover story, stating,“I’m putting myself out there, sharing my lifestyle with the world, haring my pain with the world, sharing my ups [and] sharing my downs with the entire universe. I believe in the energy of the universe and manifestation. That’s why I’m giving myself, because I’m willing to correct myself. I don’t want to just… be wrong. I’m willing to give you all of me, so you can tell me how to build on me, and make me a better me.”
