Freddie Gibbs continues putting out new music as he finally releases his fifth studio album “Soul Sold Separately”. The project is a follow-up to his 2018’s solo effort “Freddie” and 2020’s collaborative album with The Alchemist titled “Alfredo“.
The project is laced with previously released “Too Much” with Moneybagg Yo and the solo track “Dark Hearted”. The full project feature 15 tracks, which includes a bonus track “Decoded” with Scarface.
The additional guest appearances come from Kelly Price on “Couldn’t Be Done”, Offset on “Pain & Strife”, Rick Ross on “Lobster Omelette”, Anderson .Paak & Raekwon on “Feel No Pain”, Pusha T on “Gold Rings” and more.
In some places, Gibbs held a private hearing as part of the album’s promotional tour, where he offered listeners an advance listen to the album as they saw a straightforward yet captivating visualizer that only amplified the music experience. He also went on Hot 97’s Funk Flex to spit some vicious words over the iconic instrumental of Amerie’s song “Why Don’t We Fall In Love.”
