Doja Cat Releases Her New Album Vie Feat. SZA

Doja Cat unleashes “VIE” album.

Doja Cat is back with some new material as she dropped her fifth studio album “Vie” through Kemosabe and RCA Records. This is an 80s-inspired pop music project, with themes of “love, romance, and s-x”. This is a follow-up to her 2023 project “Scarlet”.

The track comes with the previously released lead single “Jealous Type“, which was dropped last month. The whole thing contains a pack of 15 tracks. The album features a lone guest appearance from SZA on the song “Take Me Dancing”. “Sza is the siren of this century and my favorite voice,” she wrote on X.

“Falling in love is putting trust in the hands of yourself and others,” she wrote about the album cover earlier this week. “The yellow parachute represents curiosity, happiness, and adventure. Flying you towards new experiences and scenes, taking a leap of faith, and holding no bounds. The tree represents life and wisdom. Giving you a sense of safety within its branches, but the pain from the fall teaches you that those scratches can be healed. You don’t have to hit the ground. Love grows upward but more importantly down. It’s the roots that keep you steady. This is the cover of my album.”
