Currensy drops his new project “Matching Rolexes.”
Currensy continues dropping new material as he teams up with producer Kino Beats for a new project called “Matching Rolexes.” This follows up his recent EP “Highest In Charge” with Trauma Tone which dropped last month. The new project features guest appearances from DeJ Loaf on “Heart In This Sh*t”, Valee on “Barbed Wire Fence” and BLU on “Under The Moon” & “Train Station.”
It is one of the 7 projects Currensy announced last month. The next projects on the list are “Pilot Talk 4” with Ski Beatz, “Land Air Sea Andretti” with Cash Fargo, “Half Moon Bay” with The Alchemist, “Regatta Legends” with Harry Fraud, and more.
One of Kino Beats’ Instagram pictures, in which the Virginia-born producer can be seen looking down on his hometown of Norfolk from a plane’s wing, perfectly captures the project’s appearance and feel. “I took this picture from my window seat flying over my home town,” Beats wrote in the caption of the post, which has since been deleted. “It was so beautiful it reminded me of this #MatchingRolexes project dropping tomorrow.”
A few months ago, Currensy released his project Collection Agency, on which he collaborated with Larry June and Harry Fraud and DJ Fresh, as well as others. Throughout the year, the rapper participated on several more projects as well.
