CMG The Label drops the “Gangsta Art” compilation project.
Following the release of “Steppas” with Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Mozzy & Blac Youngsta last week, CMG label has dropped their compilation album called “Gangsta Art”.
The album contains 27 tracks, with music from all the CMG artists, including Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo, EST Gee, 42 and more. The project also features guest appearances from Kodak Black, Coi Leray and more.
Yo Gotti teased the collection earlier this month on Instagram Live. “On the real, I think it’s about time. Everybody keeps asking for it, like, you know, ‘When we gon’ do a tour? When we gon’ do a project together?’” he said. “I think it’s about time, man. All the songs we’ve been recording together. All the late nights. We got crazy, crazy, like, crazy songs, so I think we should just gon’ drop the whole CMG project on these people, man.”
On Instagram live, Yo Gotti was visited by every CMG member that was tuning in for the audience. Given how well-received CMG’s recent songs and manoeuvres have been, Gotti said during the live performance (more particularly, the section featuring Mozzy, EST Gee, and Moneybagg Yo) that he thought it was time for a CMG album. A day or two later, they released the album’s lead single, “Steppers,” along with a great music video that further improved the song.
