Brian Fresco and Tree’s collaborative EP was Finally Released yesterday. The Mixtape Called ‘SoulMoney, features 10 all New tracks and Features MC Like sterling hayes, OG Big Lurch, Mama Allen, Dally Auston and Many More. The Chicago Rapper Tree sounds Right at home Over Brian’s Production.
He’s taken Kanye’s high-pitched, sample-heavy approach and darkened it a few shades to complement Fresco’s lyricism. It’s all about balance, since even the hardest tunes, such as “On My Soul,” don’t take you all the way down to GBE level entrapment. But don’t get it mixed up. Fresco’s narrative isn’t a happy one.
