Gunna responds to leaving YSL rumours through a new song.
It’s been a few months since Gunna was released from prison after the rapper pleaded guilty to the racketeering Rico charges, for which he was arrested in May last year with Young Thug and other YSL members.
Since then, the rapper hasn’t been seen much outside as the fans and some rap artists criticised him for taking the deal and accused him of being a rat. There are also rumours surfacing that Gunna is reportedly leaving the Young Thug-helmed label Young Stoner Life.
It looks like Gunna is going nowhere as he addresses the rumours in a snippet of a new unreleased song, which was shared by his friend and model Brittany Reshun.
“Heard the rumors said I’m packing up and flying out / We ain’t going nowhere I’m staying here, gone fight it out / I meant like f**k it / Let’s just give these ni**as dark clouds / Been gone for months And I just keep seeing these dark clouds,” he raps.
After pleading guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge in December 2022, Gunna’s name has remained linked to snitching. He was sentenced to five years, with one year already served in prison, where he had been detained since May 2022 as part of the wide-ranging YSL indictment against Young Thug and his record label.
