In the Interview session, Tyler talked about his music, albums, movies, favorite places, and more. While, talking about his favorite album he mentioned Eminem’s “The Marshall Mathers LP”, Erykah Badu’s “Mama’s Gun”, NERD’s “In Search Of… and Pharrell’s “In My Mind”.

When asked (again, by himself in a different outfit) what advice he would give himself at 18, Tyler said he probably wouldn’t say much because whatever decisions he made at the time worked out pretty well for him over a decade later. The only piece of advice he was willing to give was to be careful with what you post on the internet because people will scour your old posts in an attempt to make you look bad.

What are his favorite movies? Napoleon Dynamite from 2004, Scary Movie 2 from 2001, 20th Century Women from 2016, and The Cat in the Hat from 2003. Tyler mentioned some of these films in a 2019 interview with GQ for their Men of the Year special. It’s not the only interesting thing Tyler says; he says he prefers the day to night (“I f**king love sunlight”), and that schools should teach students how to do taxes and offer more music classes. He also says he’d love to work with Jay Kay, Michael Jackson during his Off the Wall era, and Amy Winehouse.

The rapper from Odd Future commented on Eminem’s “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” on Twitter. That makes sense given how closely Tyler and Odd Future’s shock-rap philosophy resembles Eminem’s shock-rap philosophy. According to Tyler, who referred to Em as “MY FAVORITE RAPPER,” this is what he tweeted about the latest album by Em:
“I AM ACTUALLY EXCITED TO GO BUY MIA AND MARSHALLS ALBUM
OMG AND THE FULL DONT FRONT BY MARSHALL IS OUT!!!!! AHHHHHH YES
I AM SO HAPPY
I FEEL 9 YEARS OLD AGAIN BUYING THIS MARSHALL ALBUM WOW. VERY HAPPY I STILL ENJOY MUSIC THE SAME. SOME PEOPLE LOSE THAT
