Redman Lists His Favorite Songs From Eminem's New Album 'Music To Be Murdered By'

Redman lists his favorite songs from Eminem’s new album “Music To Be Murdered By”.

A few weeks ago, Eminem gave a shout-out to his good friend Redman’s single ‘Slap Da S**t Outcha‘ on his Twitter and now Redman returns the favor as he lists his favorite songs from Eminem’s new album ‘Music to Be Murdered By‘.

On Twitter, he wrote, “I see You Slim Eminem Back At It Bro !! Ya Ya, Lock It Up, Marsh, Godzilla!! Murderous !! VIDEO ‘Darkness’ Waayyy OUT DERE …SHOCK VALUE UP !!“.

Eminem’s “Music to Be Murdered By” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week, giving the rapper a record-tying 10th consecutive chart-topping debut. But the triumphs don’t end there. With his Juice WRLD collaboration “Godzilla,” Eminem climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, behind Roddy Ricch’s viral sensation “The Box” and Drake and Future’s club-ready romp “Life Is Good.”

“Godzilla” debuted at No. 3 on both the Streaming Songs and Digital Songs Sales charts, with 41.1 million streams and 24,000 downloads, respectively. For context, that’s about 12 million more streams than Justin Bieber’s “Yummy” received in its first week (though it’s still far behind that song’s 71,000 sales), and it alternated between No. 2 and No. 3 on the US Spotify chart every day over the past week. “Godzilla” is shaping up to have some serious streaming legs, which should help it stay in the top tiers of the Hot 100 for a while.

Music to Be Murdered By debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart in its first week, collecting 279,000 album-equivalent units (including 117,000 copies as traditional album sales). This was Eminem’s tenth number-one album in the United States, making him one of just six artists to have had at least 10 number-one albums. The album’s tracks also received a total of 217.6 million on-demand streams. Music to Be Murdered By had sold over 1,053,000 equivalent units as of December 2020, including 249,000 in pure sales.
