PRhyme (DJ Premier & Royce da 5’9″) announces the ‘PRhyme 2’ Tour. Starts May 30.
After their hit ‘PRhyme 2‘ album, the duo of DJ Premier and Royce da 5’9″ decided to announce the tour in support of their latest album. The 7 dates trek will kick off on May 30 in Philadelphia and will go through Boston, Washington DC, New York, Detroit, San Francisco to close it on June 15 in Los Angeles.
“I look forward to getting back on the road and touring the country with Preem as PRhyme,” Royce said. “We had so much fun making this album and having the ability to share our vision with the world via our one-of-a-kind live show is a great reward.” DJ Premier said, “PRhyme 2 brings another chapter of a unique union of what me and Royce present when we form our legacies together as PRhyme. It’s only right to double up both projects and light the fuse.”
The forthcoming tour isn’t the only good news for PRhyme. On April 20, PRhyme 2 and an instrumental version of the album will be released on vinyl. The PRhyme 2 double vinyl album is available for pre-order.
