Nick Cannon Discussed the Time when he dissed Eminem

Nick Cannon reveals why he dissed Eminem.

The dispute between Nick Cannon and Eminem over their respective connections with Mariah Carey appears to be old news, but the ten-year feud has revived in recent months. With the two swapping diss tunes and nasty comments across social media, it feels like we’re back in 2009.

This whole narrative starts back in the day when Eminem was rumored to have dated Carey for a short time. Despite Carey’s denials, the rapper released “Bagpipes From Baghdad” from his Relapse album, which specifically addressed Carey and her then-husband Cannon. “What happened to us?” he raps, before adding, “Nick, you had your fun, I’ve come to kick you in your sack of junk.

Everyone knows about the time when Cannon dissed Eminem on the “I’m A Slick Rick” record, over a beef relating to his ex-Wife Mariah Carey but later on Marshall destroyed both Mariah and his then husband on “The Warning”. Now in a recent interview, he explains and discussed it. In an exclusive sit-down with HipHopDx, Nick Cannon reveals he took shots at Eminem because he doesn’t fear Shady and he’s fearless.

We Know Marshall Mathers is one of the greatest if not the greatest” says Nick, “If you ain’t coming to get it poppin… you gotta go. There’s a reason Hip Hop was built off of healthy competition and I’m fearless. I got fearless tattooed all over my body in a sense where I’ve never been scared of another individual. The only I fear is god. He and I have intresting conversations from time to time.”

Nick continues, “The way the Eminem thing started was that I never had an issue with him… If anything, I’ve been one of his biggest fans, but when another man crosses a line of disrespect, then you got to deal with it. I can’t just sit there and allow someone to disrespect my family and thing there aren’t going to be any repercussions. However you want to deal with it, we can deal with it. Whether entertainment, then damn it, let’s get entertaining. If you want to deal with it in a physical or whatever, but it has to be dealt with.
