2 Chainz on Twitter “Eminem called me, remember that”.
Last week, Eminem made a public appearance at ‘The Defiant Ones’ Documentary Premiere at LA. He appeared after a long time and shocked everyone with his new look in a beard. Later Tity Boi also shared some pictures of him with Eminem with a hashtag #marshalllikestrapmusic.
On social media, many asked if it was just pictures or 2 Chainz working on some music with Eminem. One of the user question if 2 Chainz could keep up with Eminem or Shady has to lower the difficulty level, “Tell 2 Chainz step his game up or Em might be nice and dummy it down just to make a hit record.” 2 Chainz responded to the tweet and revealed that Eminem reached out to him. He said, “Ni**a pls he don’t have to dumb sh*t down im da truf.. he called me remember that.”
Denaun Porter first approached 2 Chainz about reworking a chorus and incorporating some ad-libs for Slim. The rapper alleges that after being rebuffed first and that he creates his own beats, 2 Chainz “humbled” himself and met Em.
When they eventually connected, Eminem played 2 Chainz the song and the two began to trade ideas on how to make the song better until settling on a collaboration that features a verse from Tity Boi.
So if Marshall called him, it’s surely not just for the pictures, he might be cooking something new with 2 Chainz.
