Watch Drake's New 2 Hour Interview with Rap Radar

Drake’s new interview with Rap Radar.

After returning to the music scene with ‘War‘ earlier this week, Drake decided to give something more to his fans as he released a new interview on Christmas. He sat down with Rap Radar for a long 2-hour interview where he talks about his evolution as an artist, his relationship with Lil Wayne and Rihanna, beef with Pusha T, and much more.

It was a rather honest examination of the rapper’s career at the end of a decade he ruled, filmed in the Toronto star’s newly-erected hometown castle. The two-hour-plus interview covered a lot of ground, detailing and dispelling speculation over a relatively quiet year, from learning under Lil Wayne’s wing to squashed (Meek) and ongoing beef (Kanye and Pusha) to his recent dismissal from the stage at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival to taking runtime cues from Biggie on More Life. The rapper’s lone releases, with the exception of a few features, commemorated the Toronto Raptors’ first NBA championship at the start of the year (a feat he very clearly takes at least partial credit for.)

Sidestepping continuing squabbles with the G.O.O.D Music group, the rapper eventually let go of his unwavering confidence, confessing Pusha T’s “Story of Adidon” was a L he couldn’t recover from. And he doesn’t feel obligated to crush anything with Clipse or Kanye, stating “SICKOMODE” will be his final comment on the strained relationship with old idols.
