Roddy Ricch drops his new album ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial’ feat Ty Dolla, Meek Mill & others.

After giving us the ‘Tip Toe‘ track and video with A Boogie wit da Hoodie recently, Roddy Ricch has released his debut album called ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial‘. The project contains 16 records with guest appearances from Gunna, Ty Dolla Sign, Meek Mill, and more.

The album debuted at the top of the list a week after its release date on December 6, 2019. It returned to the top of the list a month later, becoming the first debut rap album to do so since The Game’s The Documentary. It reached the pinnacle for the third time earlier this month, two months after its initial release. The album’s success has been fueled by the success of the hit track “The Box.” The song has five times reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

The album includes songs like “Start Wit Me” and “Peta,” as well as more melodic tracks like “Bacc Seat” and “Perfect Time.” Roddy Ricch recently revealed the meaning of the title to Variety, saying: “I don’t say much since I’m not a big talker. I talk to people I know, but you’ll never get me talking to strangers or at parties.”

In its first week, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial opened at number one on the Billboard 200 in the United States, with 101,000 album-equivalent units (including 3,000 copies as pure album sales). This was Roddy Ricch’s first chart-topping single. The tracks on the album have had a total of 130.7 million on-demand audio streams. With an extra 81,000 units sold in its second week, the album fell to number three on the list.

The rapper from Los Angeles was just nominated for three Grammy Awards. His single “Racks in the Middle,” which featured the late Nipsey Hussle, received two nominations: Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.

The highest-charting song from the album, “The Box,” spent eleven weeks at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart despite not having been released as a single. Five other tracks from the records also managed to list on the chart. As of January 2022, songs from the album have certified sales of over 20 million copies.
