Future & Young Thug drops new project “SUPER SLIMEY” feat Mike Will, Fuse & others.
Atlanta rappers Future and Young Thug join forces for a new joint project called “SUPER SLIMEY”. It contains 13 records with the only features from Offset. Production is handled by Southside, London On Da Track, Mike WiLL Made-It, TM88, Fuse, and more.
Offset, Mike WiLL Made-It, Southside, TM-88, London On Da Track, Richie Souf, Will-A-Fool, Wheezy, and Fuse all contributed to the first instalment of the Super Slimey series. Although there is no set release date for Super Slimey 2, the album is expected to hit streaming services before the end of the year.
It’s been over two years since Future Hendrix and Young Thug released their collaborative album Super Slimey, and it appears like the sequel is on the road. Thugger’s label, Young Stoner Life Records, tweeted this morning (Aug. 7) that the second edition of Thugger and Future’s mixtape is due shortly, but there’s a catch this time: Lil Baby and Gunna will be dropping it alongside them.
Metro Boomin has collaborated with both artists for a long time. Travis Scott’s Rodeo, Chance the Rapper’s Coloring Book, Lil Durk’s LilDurk2X, and Mike WiLL’s Ransom 2, to mention a few of the albums on which they’ve appeared, all have similar track listings. Future allegedly planned to sign Thug to the Freebandz imprint for $1.5 million, but the transaction fell through.
Gunna announced plans for a Drip Harder sequel alongside Lil Baby when speaking with Real 92.3’s Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed earlier this year.
“Of course. This year. That’s a guarantee — we ain’t even playing like that,” Gunna told Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed in a February 2019 interview.
